These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tab Scholar website, including our scholarship database, blog, and Digital SAT Preparation course (together, the "Service").

By accessing or using Tab Scholar, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.

Who May Use Tab Scholar

Tab Scholar is free and open to everyone. Most of the Service, including every scholarship listing and every SAT lesson, can be used without creating an account.

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly allow users under 13 to create accounts. If you are under the age of majority in your country, please use Tab Scholar with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Accounts

Creating a free SAT Prep account allows your practice answers and progress to be saved between sessions. When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide a real, working email address and accurate information
  • Keep your password confidential and not share your account with others
  • Take responsibility for activity that happens under your account
  • Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or remove an account that is used to abuse the Service, attack the platform, or harm other users.

Accuracy of Information

We research every scholarship listing from the provider's own official published sources and link back to them so you can verify the details yourself. Even so, scholarship programs change their deadlines, award amounts, and eligibility rules without notice.

Tab Scholar is an information service, not an application service and not a scholarship provider. We do not award funding, we do not process applications, and we do not guarantee that any listing is current, complete, or that you will be eligible for or receive any scholarship. Always confirm the details on the provider's official website before applying.

SAT Preparation Course

Our Digital SAT Preparation course is provided free of charge for study purposes. Please note:

  • Tab Scholar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the College Board. "SAT" is a trademark of the College Board.
  • Creating an account here does not register you for the SAT. Registration is handled only through the College Board.
  • Practice questions and worked examples on Tab Scholar are our own material, written to reflect the format and skills of the Digital SAT. They are not real, retired, or licensed exam questions.
  • Test structure, timing, and scoring described in the course reflect the format at the time of writing and may be changed by the College Board.
  • No score improvement is promised or guaranteed. Your results depend on your own preparation.

Acceptable Use

When using Tab Scholar, you agree not to:

  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-copy our content, database, or practice questions
  • Republish or resell our material as your own, or behind a paywall
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by overloading it with automated requests
  • Submit false, misleading, abusive, or unlawful content through our forms
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law

Intellectual Property

The Tab Scholar name, logo, site design, written guides, blog articles, lesson explanations, worked examples, and practice questions are owned by Tab Scholar and protected by copyright and other laws.

You may read, print, and share our material for your own personal, non-commercial study. Any other use — including republication, redistribution, or commercial use — requires our written permission. Scholarship names, university names, and other third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners.

Third-Party Links

Tab Scholar links to external websites, including universities, governments, and scholarship providers. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or practices. Visiting them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any information on it is accurate or complete.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tab Scholar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, missed deadlines, rejected applications, lost scholarship opportunities, or test results, whether or not based on information found on Tab Scholar.

You are responsible for verifying deadlines and requirements with the official provider and for your own application decisions.

Advertising

Tab Scholar may display advertising from third-party networks to keep the Service free. We do not control the specific advertisements shown, and their appearance on our site is not an endorsement. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising and analytics cookies are used.

Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may add, change, or remove parts of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date and takes effect on publication. Continuing to use Tab Scholar after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
