How We List Scholarships

Last Updated: August 2026

Every scholarship on Tab Scholar is researched and written by hand, one listing at a time, from the provider's own official website. This page explains exactly how that works, so you can judge for yourself how much weight to give what you read here.

Where the Information Comes From

We use one source for every listing: the scholarship provider's own official published page — the university's financial aid or graduate school site, the government agency running the programme, or the foundation's own scholarship page.

We do not copy details from other scholarship websites, aggregator databases, or second-hand summaries. Those go out of date without warning and repeat each other's mistakes. If we cannot find the information on the provider's own site, we do not publish it.

Every listing links directly to the official source, so you can check anything on the page in one click. That link is the most important thing on the listing.

What We Record for Each Scholarship

Listings follow a consistent structure so that you can compare opportunities quickly rather than reading a different layout on every page. For each scholarship we record:

  • The award — what it actually covers, and whether it is fully funded, full tuition, or partial
  • Who is eligible, including degree level, field of study, and nationality or region
  • The deadline, and how the provider handles it — a fixed date, rolling rounds, or admission-linked
  • Language requirements and medium of instruction
  • What you need to submit, and the steps to apply
  • A direct link to the provider's official page

What We Leave Unspecified

Where a provider does not publish a particular detail, we mark it as unspecified. We do not invent estimated values to fill the gap. You will not find guessed award amounts, made-up acceptance rates, or approximated deadlines on Tab Scholar.

A field marked unspecified means the provider has not made that information public — which is itself worth knowing before you spend a week on an application.

Keeping Listings Current

Scholarship programmes change their deadlines, award amounts and eligibility rules without notice, and often without updating every page on their own site. We revisit listings periodically against the official source and correct what has changed.

We are honest about the limits of this. Tab Scholar is a small operation, and between one review and the next a provider may have changed something. That is exactly why every listing carries the official link, and why we say plainly: confirm the details on the provider's own website before you apply.

Found Something Wrong?

If a deadline has passed, an amount has changed, or a programme has closed, please tell us through the contact page. Corrections from students are one of the most reliable ways we find out that something has moved, and we act on them.

What Tab Scholar Is Not

We are an information service. We are not a scholarship provider, not an application service, and not an agent for any university or funder. We do not award funding, take a fee, process applications, or pass your details to institutions.

No listing on Tab Scholar is an endorsement, and no listing implies that you will be eligible for or receive an award. See our Terms of Use for the full position.

Why It Is Free

Tab Scholar is free for every student, with no paid tier and nothing locked behind an account — including the whole Digital SAT preparation course. Running costs are covered by advertising, explained in our Privacy Policy. Advertisers have no say in which scholarships we list or how we describe them.
